<h3 style="text-align: justify; ">Motivation and Background</h3>
<p class=" " style="text-align: justify; ">Quality of web services represents an important issue for every service or content provider. Measurement of such services at the end-user side is not a trivial task, and various key factors are influencing the overall QoE perception. The aim of the Web QoE test content application provided here is to create a standardized news web page, which could be used for laboratory assessments for investigation of underlying key factors. Operator is able to change and affect page load times, or loading of certain elements, to simulate different network conditions, and measure their effect of the user's perception. To eliminate unwanted influences from network conditions outside of the lab, the project includes content harvesting script for downloading recent news from RSS feed specified in the config.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify; ">The web application consists of two modules, namely the "News page" and "My Social Picture Gallery Page" with a similar look as the Facebook.com photo galleries.</p>

<p class=" " style="text-align: justify; ">Newspage.at is a clone of a news site that provides realistic content from RSS feed in a suitable format. The web page itself represents a general news portal, similar to others, which can be found all over the Internet. It provides also responsive design, so it is usable on general devices like smart-phones, tablets, small computer screens and large computer screens. The general recommended resolution for viewing is more 1300 pixels in width.</p>
<p class=" " style="text-align: justify; ">This module contains simple PHP harvesting script, which is used for generating realistic content from RSS feed. To work properly, Yahoo Pipes schemes needs to be set up to generate the suitable feeds, which might be configured for harvesting.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify; "><span>My Social Picture Gallery represents simple image gallery module, which users should be familiar with from the Facebook.com page. Testing operator is able to change several URL parameters, and so control the page loading behavior. </span></p>
